1. Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how GT Studio Labs ("GT Studio Labs," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with ReputationIQ, a Google Business Profile review and reply management product operated by GT Studio Labs for business customers ("Businesses") and their customers ("Customers").
ReputationIQ is a product of GT Studio Labs; there is no separate corporate entity behind the ReputationIQ name.
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Business account information: business name, contact name, email address, phone number, and business address, provided when a Business signs up to use ReputationIQ.
- Google Business Profile access: where a Business connects its Google Business Profile, we access review and reply data through Google's own account authorisation, limited to what's needed to display reviews and publish replies the Business approves.
- Customer-submitted review drafts: the text a Customer enters or dictates when using ReputationIQ's guided review prompt, before they choose to post it themselves on Google.
- Website usage information: basic technical information (such as browser type and pages visited) if analytics are enabled on this site.
3. How we use information
- To help a Customer prepare a review in their own words, which the Customer then reviews and posts themselves on Google.
- To notify a Business when a new review is posted on its Google Business Profile.
- To suggest a draft reply, which the Business reviews, may edit, and chooses whether to post.
- To maintain and improve ReputationIQ, including diagnosing technical issues.
- To respond to support requests and communicate with Businesses about their account.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use Customer information for advertising. ReputationIQ never posts a review or reply on Google without the relevant person's own action to publish it.
4. Google Business Profile and Google account access
Where a Business connects ReputationIQ to its Google Business Profile, that connection is made through Google's own account sign-in and authorisation flow. We do not see or store the Business's Google account password. Data accessed through this connection is handled in accordance with Google's own applicable terms and policies, in addition to this policy. A Business can revoke ReputationIQ's access to its Google account at any time through its Google account settings.
5. Data retention
We retain Business and Customer information for as long as a Business's account is active, and for a limited period afterward to meet operational and legal record-keeping needs. A Business or Customer can request deletion of their data at any time — see our Data Deletion page for how to do this.
6. Data sharing
We do not share personal information with third parties except:
- With service providers that help us operate ReputationIQ (for example, hosting and infrastructure providers), under confidentiality obligations.
- With Google, as required to display and manage reviews through a Business's Google Business Profile connection.
- Where required by law, regulation, or a valid legal process.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain uses of it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below or on our Contact page.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. No system is completely secure, and we encourage Businesses and Customers to contact us promptly if they suspect unauthorised access to their account or data.
9. Children's information
ReputationIQ is intended for use by businesses and their adult customers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
